Family Date Night
My family is big. There are five kids so one thing that is really big at our house is crafts. My kids are 16, 14, 12, 12, and 1. All of the kids love to do crafts. The Christmas break will be here soon and that means two weeks off of school. I was thinking “Why not have a family date night for one of the nights that the kids are not in school?” Brad and I go on date nights all of the time and we try to put effort into them and make them special. Why not do the same for the kids? Our kids LOVE when we do things that are special just for THEM!!!
First: Make an agenda to hand out to the kids (You could hand them an invitation with the agenda in it!

Hot Coco Bar
I love homemade ornaments. My favorite ornaments on my tree are the ones that my kids made. Here are some easy ones that are cute.
Kids LOVE making their own pizzas. You can use the premade pizza crusts, crust that is found near the crescent rolls in the grocery store, or even naan bread. Choose different toppings (pepperoni, cheese, mushrooms, olives, premade bacon, etc). Of course don’t forget the pizza sauce!
After you make your pizzas and eat them, get out the toppings for a Hot Coco Bar. (you could do a Sunday Bar too) After your kids have made their hot chocolates, gather your family in front of the TV for a Christmas inspired movie.
You don’t have to be this extravagant for the Hot Coco Bar but I think you definitely need the whip crème that comes from the can. That is the best!
Sit down with your family and enjoy a classic Christmas movie that the kids and parent will love.
My question for you is this: Who is ready to plan a family date night?
