Pottery Barn Nursery on a Budget
Today we have a guest blogger. Our good friend Tracy is one of the most talented decorators. If you saw her house, you would be in complete awe! She is married to one of the nicest guys, Drew, and they are proud parents to two beautiful girls, Lucy and Olivia. Tracy spent many years working for Macy’s as a buyer. She is now a stay at home mom and is so good about decorating her home without breaking the bank.
A few weeks ago Tracy showed a group of us (freezer meal club) baby Olivia’s nursery. I was blown away! Everything looked perfect! I will admit the blog title is deceiving. Tracy shopped at Land of Nod for her staples (curtains, bedding) and picked up everything else from discount and craft stores (Hobby Lobby, Marshallls, Ross, Garden Ridge).
I love all of the finishing touches in this room. For example, I love how she put colored balls in a glass lamp. The pink deer was a different color, but she just painted it to match the room.
I love the placement of the items!
Her hedge hog theme is too cute! She has plans to frame the picture (she just had sweet baby Olivia a few days ago!)
In conclusion, every room in Tracy’s house feels warm, expensive, and put together. She has that “eye” to know what will work and what won’t. I will be the first to admit that I copy her all of the time! I love that she invested in a few key pieces and then found treasures from around different budge places that did not break the bank!
