Read this carefully: Every Girl Loves Getting Flowers
Every girl loves getting flowers. Let me repeat…this…again.
Every girl loves getting flowers.
If you are a girl who does not love getting flowers, stop reading this blog post and go on to something different. What I am about to say does not pertain to you.
This blog post was inspired by my sweet cousin Mandy who got beautiful flowers delivered today from her husband and she posted a picture of them on Facebook. I commented that her husband needs to talk to my husband because…Every girl loves getting flowers! This made me think….My husband will pick up flowers for me every once in a while on his way home (and I appreciate it) but he rarely has flowers delivered to me.
Why is this? My husband is frugal on some things. I am not saying he is cheap when it comes to me because this is not the case. He buys me things all of the time and does sweet things for me all of the time, but he does not send flowers. I think he got burned one time when he had flowers delivered to me on Valentines Day and he spent a fortune for three roses. He was SO mad that he spent so much money on them.
Don’t have flowers delivered to someone on commercial holidays. They will jack up the prices because they can. It is called supply and demand.
I think Brad doesn’t realize how much I like having flowers delivered to me. Of course not all of the time, but every once in a while……The best is to have them delivered to you when you are at work in front of everyone! Brad is kind of stuck right now because if he sends them to me anytime in the near future, it is because of this blogJ)
My husband is really the best husband ever. He is a million times better than me and does sweet things for me all of the time.
If you are a man reading this, keep reading for instructions. If you are a femalereading this, forward this blog post to the man in your life and have him read it.
Women love getting flowers from another person. All females are quite capable of going to the store and buying their own flowers but that is not the same. The coolest thing you can do for your wife, girlfriend, partner, friend, daughter, etc is to send them flowers on a random day with a simple note stating something like “I just wanted you to know how much I love (appreciate) you and you make me smile (laugh)…whatever cheesy thing you can think of. (The cheesier the better)
Most men will send their ladies flowers on the typical holidays (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, and their birthdays). I would rather not get flowers on these days and get them out of the blue, in the middle of the week, in the middle of a random month…..for no special reason but just to say “I love and appreciate you.” THAT IS THE BEST
What if you are a guy reading this and think to yourself “It is too expensive to get flowers delivered. We are on a tight budget. Going to the grocery store is and picking up flowers is almost as good.”
Stop being so cheap!!!!
Just joking. I completely understand being on a budget. If things are really that tight, maybe you can sacrifice a few trips to Starbucks to save the money. You will definitely reap benefits for being so sweet and randomly sending flowers to your girl.
I went to a website called From Our Flowers They even provide same day delivery service. I clicked on the “Best Wishes Bouquet.” I could have this beautiful bouquet delivered to my home tomorrow for only $23.99! That is cheap! It is not as if you have to do this every month (or maybe you are always in the dog house and you do….ha).
Every girl loves getting flowers. Randomly choose a date on your calendar and set up a reminder to send your special girl “for no reason” flowers. You will make her day. You will definitely make her week. You probably will make her month. Heck, this gesture could even make her year!!!!
Remember, girls do not EVER want to ask their guys to buy them flowers. Just always assume that they want you to remember that they will ALWAYS be greatly appreciated. They don’t have to cost a fortune and the gesture will benefit you greatly.
(Side note: I really do have the best husband ever. When I was teaching high school, I asked Brad to come with me to help chaperone the Senior Prom. When he showed up to pick me up, he brought me a corsage. I thought it was the cutest and sweetest thing ever. I was not sure when I was going to put it on. I wondered what the students would think of me (their teacher) having a corsage on. Brad asked me to put it on. I thought it was so cute that he was so excited about the corsage. As I opened it up, I saw a diamond ring dangling from the corsage. Brad immediately got down on his knees and asked me to marry him. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life and I still have the corsage.
I came across a really cool story about a man who had an inoperable brain tumor. He made arrangements for after he passed, his wife would receive flowers on Valentines Day until she died. That is priceless….
My question for you is this: Who is ready to get flowers!!! (?)
